Is it really possible to make money on YouTube without producing any video content at all?
Profit Injector claims they have a 100% automated system in place to make this possible but needless to say that I’m a bit skeptical of systems like this.
Let’s find out what Profit Injector is all about.

While it’s possible to make money with this system, there are some major downsides and I wouldn’t recommend this to beginners.

What Is Profit Injector?
Profit Injector is an online training course that’s based around video marketing and how to contact other YouTube content creators for mutually beneficial joint ventures.
The course was launched in January 2019 and is made by Jamie Lewis who is a successful online marketer with a long portfolio.
At first glance, I was a bit suspicious about this product mainly because this is the first thing you see on the sales page.
To my surprise, Jamie Lewis is a real person and he is the spokesperson on the sales video, which adds to the credibility.
You often see hired spokespersons doing these sales pitches and the owner is just a pen name but apparently not in this case.
The sales video itself is a bit hyped up and selling dreams since Jamie is sitting on a top of cash pile while counting his dollars.
Not to say you can’t make that kind of money with this product but I think Jamie has achieved his success from other sources rather than this system.
Let’s take a look at what you actually get with this product.
Closer Look At Profit Injector
There are lots of different materials squeezed into this course and I’ll go through them next.
Let’s start with the main purpose of how you are supposed to make money with this system.
The idea is to use Profit Injector’s tool which automatically finds YouTube videos that have plenty of traffic and aren’t monetized. You then have to contact those channel owners and propose a mutually beneficial deal where you monetize the video and split the profits.
You get prewritten emails you can use to contact the channel owners.
The monetizing is done by adding affiliate links to the video description box. These links lead to a marketplace where the visitor can buy a product that is relevant to the YouTube video. Once a purchase is done, you and the channel owner will earn a commission and money is made.
This business model is called affiliate marketing.
There are short video guides included explaining how this process works and how to use the tools.
That’s the rough outline of the system but I will get more detailed of the pros and cons later.
It’s Not 100% Automated System
In the sales pitch you were promised the following:
You’ll be able to mine untapped traffic goldmines and get your link in the description boxes of successful, famous videos in 5 minutes, without having to search for 6 weeks and tons of research. Everything is 100% Automated. All YOU have to do is Inject Profits!
I’m not a fan of this kind of advertising simply because it’s misleading and most of the time not true.
You are not going to get your affiliate links to videos in 5 minutes because the channel owners aren’t expected to be on call 24/7, and even if they were, it’s not going to happen in 5 minutes.
The only thing automated is the tool that finds suitable channels for you to contact, everything else you need to handle yourself. It’s more like 20% automated.
Things you need to do yourself:
- Contact the channel owners and propose a deal
- Find suitable products to promote
- Give affiliate links to the channel owner
- Handle the payments for the split profits
My Concern With The Automated Tool
The tool has a big list of categories to find videos but I’m concerned because most of these categories only have around 3 videos each.
This is going to cause some saturation if enough people are using the product. These channel owners are going to receive the same prewritten emails over and over again from Profit Injector users.
That means not many people will be able to even strike a deal with these channel owners. They are just going to see the same emails as junk mail.
Other Material
The process above was the main selling point of this course but there are also guides on how to build your own YouTube channel from zero.
You get training like how to develop your subscriber base, create content for your channel, and hacks to grow your channel.
How Much Does Profit Injector Really Cost?
The starting price for video guides and tools is $37 but after the initial purchase, you will face multiple upsells totaling over $500.
The training class basically means a live webinar that is held every week in 2019 by Jamie himself.
The $197 upsell means you get access to these webinars for one year. And respectively the second upsell gives you access for half of the webinars.
I’m assuming here but I think the last upsell called “Profit Injector Business In A Box” is a “done-for-you” system where you get already somewhat established system or personal help getting started.
Who Is The Profit Injector For?
In my opinion, this is one way to add a new passive income stream for someone who has already established a successful online business.
I wouldn’t recommend this to beginners who are just getting started with an online business for the first time because you are not building a reliable asset for yourself.
You are constantly chasing after new deals and your income is dependent on other people’s assets (videos in this case).
For beginners, it’s better to first create your own assets that you have 100% control over.
Pros Of Profit Injector
#1 – Additional Passive Income Source
It’s possible to make money with this method if you manage to strike a good deal and promote the right products to the right audience.
This is a long-term process for sure and requires some trial and error before you start seeing any results.
#2 – Refund Policy
Since this is a Clickbank product, you have 60 days to refund the product and you are guaranteed to get the money back.
Cons Of Profit Injector
#1 – You Don’t Own The Asset
This is my main concern for the method and why it’s not suited for beginners.
The videos you are advertising on, do not belong to you. The channel owner could at any point break your mutual deal and start using their own advertising links to haul the full income.
You are not in control of what happens to your business and this could result in your income streams disappearing overnight. You definitely don’t want that to happen after all the work.
That’s why it’s important to build your own assets that you have full control over.
#2 – Low-quality Clickbank Products
The products you are supposed to advertise on videos are from Clickbank which is a marketplace for digital products.
There’s some good stuff on Clickbank but also terrible amounts of low-quality products.
These products might not be what the customer expected and they can refund their money back and you lose the commission in that case.
#3 – Not Many Will Buy Through Your Links
Even if the video is getting lots of traffic, your affiliate links are most likely not.
This has to do with the fact that you are finding videos online that are already doing well in terms of traffic. This is problematic for you because the affiliate links are added afterward and there is zero promoting done to them in the video itself.
Your affiliate links suddenly appear one night and the viewers aren’t guided to these links in any way.
Even if the links were promoted in the video, only a small fraction would be ready to swipe their credit cards.
#4 – Upsells
I don’t like how there were zero mentioning of additional costs after the initial purchase.
It’s upsetting that you think you get access to the full product but in reality, you have to pay hundreds of dollars for the whole product.
#5 – Missing Legal Documents
The homepage is missing common pages like privacy policies and other disclaimers. This means the company is not being completely transparent on how they are using the visitor data.
There’s a chance that user data like emails are being sold to third-party companies for money.
Is Profit Injector A Scam?
This is not a scam because you get a decent product and you can make some money with it.
My conclusion is that this is a way to create a new passive income source for someone who has already built a stable online business.
However, I don’t believe this is something your whole income should rely on because you are not in control of what happens to the affiliate links or videos.
It’s better for beginners to learn how to build their own money generating assets rather than relying on other people’s assets.
This Option Is Better For Beginners
So, if you want to make a reliable long-term income online, it’s essential that you build an asset that you can fully own yourself.
You build your own audience and publish your own content that people enjoy consuming.
It might sound hard when I say it like that, but it’s possible for everyone.
