Since 2018, I’ve been learning how to make money online with affiliate marketing and this website is where I share everything I have learned.
The ultimate goal is to create a strong resource for anyone who wants to get into affiliate marketing by building simple affiliate websites that are up 24/7 and earning commissions all around the clock.
I’m going to share what methods have worked well for me, and those that ended up being complete failures but priceless learning moments.
I also review useful (& not so useful) tools and products so you can make educated purchase decisions and avoid scams.
A Little Bit About Me
My name is Mikko – the one running this site and sharing my experiences as an online entrepreneur.
I first heard about affiliate marketing in 2012.
The 20-year-old me had heard you could somehow make money online with a platform called “Clickbank”.
I was obviously intrigued and even managed to sign up for the platform.
Now, there was a small problem.
I had no guides to follow so I had zero clue what I was supposed to do. I eyeballed all the gravity numbers and honestly, there was just a monkey bashing cymbals together inside my head.
It was a short journey that led nowhere. I moved on.
Fast-forward to 2018, I had just quit my dead-end job as an electrician and desperately wanted to do something else for money. I wanted a complete overhaul. Something I could actually enjoy and be passionate about.
I knew people were making money online. It’s something I had always wanted to do as well.
But I had never done any real research on how it works, other than coding and stuff.
So that’s what I did this time.
I fired up the good ol’ Google and literally spent a week researching legit ways to make money online. I didn’t want to get scammed.
Eventually, I found a platform with a good reputation teaching affiliate marketing.
It was just what I was looking for and I decided to go all in.
As someone who had never done anything entrepreneurial before, I quickly realized I was a horrible procrastinator and lacked the required discipline.
I had demons to beat.
The first 6 months were spent in self-misery, but also in improving and building up systems so I could make this work. I had never worked for myself before and after a while, I realized this new path gave a lot of meaning to my life. A desire to improve.
I sucked in information like a vacuum cleaner.
Maybe with a bit of luck, I happened to make my first sale at the 6-month mark. This sealed the deal.
At that point, I knew I could make this work as long as I worked in the right direction.
Now in 2023, this year marks my 5-year anniversary.
I run a small but mean portfolio of 4 affiliate sites in different niches (tech, health, MMO, & lifestyle) that earn me passive income every month.
Admittedly, I’m not quite yet at my income goal of $5,000/month, but I’m getting closer each day and hope to pass it next year. Despite that, the sites I have allow me to live the life I’ve always envisioned for myself.
You can probably tell that vision doesn’t include Lambos & Dom Pérignon.
For me, it’s enough that I don’t have to worry about money in general.
I’m happy just for being able to wake up whenever I want, enjoy 10 cups of coffee, check my overnight earnings, work 4-5 hours a day, do some reading, spend time on my hobbies, and go to sleep excited for a new day.
This is the kind of lifestyle I preach on this website – and I want to make sure you realize it’s possible for anyone with a bit of guidance and effort.
I say that because I’m willing to bet most people – under the hood – are not looking for Lambos or a millionaire lifestyle either. A simple 5-6-figure income with freedom and not having to worry about money would be enough to satisfy most.
